Understanding the Social Impacts of Network Disruptions

In 2020, GNI commissioned research on the social impacts of network disruptions in sub-Saharan Africa. That work included desk research, as well as interviews with key stakeholders in countries that have experienced recent disruptions. The report will be finalized in the coming months and will be public before DRIF and will include recommendations for advocacy based on the research. This session will feature the author of the report, as well as several of the stakeholders who were interviewed, who will present and discuss the findings and recommendations.
