Strengthening Human Rights in a Digital Age

The session will provide practical footprints on how to strengthen the effectiveness of human rights through the use of digital innovation competencies and instruments. During the interactive session, human rights defenders, civil society, the private sector, and policymakers will be brought together to also discuss the risks and opportunities of cybersecurity for human rights work in East Africa, in particular Uganda.
