The engagement of CEHRO with the Ethiopia Human Rights Commission (EHRC) was officially started on the 12th of August 2020 and a commendable engagement has been happening. CEHRO and other relevant human rights institutions including other governmental bodies have since been increasing their engagements. There is a need to continue to build on the existing advocacy engagements on digital inclusion, exploit and share opportunities for the widening of the civic space in the digital sphere. DRIF22 Ethiopia will provide a platform for stakeholders to unpack the areas that need advocacy, legal and institutional reform, develop advocacy strategies and raise awareness on digital rights.
