Dr. Millicent Agangiba is the Head of Department- Information Technology at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) and the Executive Director of Inclusive Tech Group, a Nonprofit Organisation advancing Digital Accessibility for the vulnerable especially Persons with Disabilities. She is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Vice Chair of IEEE Ghana Section and a Licensed Professional Engineer with the Institution of Engineering Technology (IET). She holds PhD in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town and a Master of Science degree in Computers Science from Tver State Technical University in the Russian Federation. She is a member of several professional bodies including the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), Association of Information Systems (AIS), and the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM). She is a reviewer for several International Journals and Conferences. She is a passionate Disability Tech advocate and has spoken at several local, national and international platforms on digital accessibility for PWDs. She has also received several awards from international organisations including L’Oréal-UNESCO for Women in Science Sub-Saharan Africa Prestigious Award.
