Over a decade of shaping digital rights conversations across the Global South

what is DRIF?

Advancing Digital Rights & Inclusion

The Digital Rights and Inclusion Forum (DRIF) has established itself as an important platform where conversations on digital policy in Africa are shaped, policy directions debated, and partnerships forged.

Hosted by Paradigm Initiative, the forum brings together civil society, media, technologists, diplomats, government agencies, and academia to ensure that digital technology serves the interests of all.

Why DRIF Matters

Our four strategic pillars drive the mission of sustainable digital inclusion and robust policy advocacy across the continent.

Policy

Advancing rights-respecting policy frameworks through collaborative dialogue.

Advocacy

Amplifying voices for data privacy, freedom of expression, and internet access.

Networking

Building a global community of practice among global digital rights stakeholders.

Inclusion

Closing the digital divide and ensuring no one is left behind.
