DRIF22 The Gambia will facilitate the mobilisation and awareness-raising of CSOs to advocate for adherence to data protection and privacy standards as the country sets out to introduce a law on data protection and privacy without proper consultations. The focus will be to empower to influence the content of the proposed law on data protection and privacy, to advocate for the proposed law to be in line with standards of best practice while capturing the voice of citizens and to promote transparency around data governance policies in The Gambia.
