Anriette, with many others, helped establish email and internet connectivity in Southern Africa. SANGONeT hosted a Fidonet hub that provided universities and non-governmental organisations in, among other places, Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe, with email links to global networks as part of a collaboration between APC and the United Nations Development Programme. Anriette has served on the African Technical Advisory Committee of the UN's Economic Commission for Africa's African Information Society Initiative and was a member of the United Nations ICT Task Force from 2002 to 2005, the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Working Group on Financing Mechanisms, and the Commission on Science and Technology for Development Working Group on Internet Governance Forum (IGF) Improvements. She was a member of the Multistakeholder Advisory Group of the Internet Governance Forum from 2012 to 2014. Currently, Anriette is a member of the Global Commission on the Stability of Cyberspace and serves on the board of Research ICT Africa.
She served as a member of the board of the Kenya Communications Regulatory Authority, led African Government engagement in the African Union Commission Dot Africa initiative, represented both the Kenya government and the AUC at the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers Governmental Advisory Committee (GAC), while there she served as vice chair for 2 years and founding chair of the GAC Public Safety Working Group. She has been involved with the internet society in different capacities, including as a member of the board of trustees.
She is the founder of the Kenya ICT Action Network is a multi-stakeholder network of people and institutions interested and involved in ICT Policy and regulation.
Entrepreneur and Business Management Trainer with over 38 years of international experience in business management and in the telecommunications industry, majority of which have been in C-Level positions in private multi-national companies and in government Telecom Policy & Regulation. Dr Ndukwe is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE), Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management (FNIM) and Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Engineering, FAEng. He is author of several papers on Utility Regulation/Sector Policy and business management. Engineer Ndukwe has represented Nigeria at various international events and is a regular resource person at local and international conferences and events. He was appointed the Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Nigeria’s Telecommunications Regulatory Agency by the President in 2000 and proceeded to preside over the building of an internationally respected institution. Under his tenure at the NCC, the ICT industry witnessed tremendous growth and transformation, leading to what has been generally referred to as the era of Nigeria’s Telecommunication Revolution. Prior to his appointment to the NCC, Dr Ndukwe was the MD/CEO of General Telecom Plc and had held several senior and top level Executive positions in leading multinational telecommunications companies. He is also a Vice Chairman of the ITU Telecom Development Advisory Group (TDAG) representing Nigeria. Dr Ndukwe is currently chairman of Openmedia Group as well as a part time Faculty at the Lagos Business School where he heads the Centre for Infrastructure Policy, Regulation and Advancement, CIPRA. He had previously served as Co-chairman of the Presidential Committee to develop Strategy and Roadmap for universal Broadband Access for Nigeria. He is currently the Vice Chairman of the National Broadband Council with the Minister of Communications Technology as Chairman. He is the National Coordinator of the Alliance for Affordable Internet in Nigeria.

Albert has previously conducted cyber security related consulting and research for a number of international and local organizations including the United Nations Office on Drugs & Crime (UNODC), United Nations Conference on Trade & Development (UNCTAD), Commonwealth Cybercrime Initiative (CCI) of the Commonwealth Secretariat, Global Commission on Internet Governance (GCIG)/Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House) and the Inter-Governmental Action Group against Money Laundering in West Africa (GIABA), the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA) among others. Albert also conducted a research project on implementation of the Data Protection Act 2012 (Act 843) for the United Nations Conference on Trade & Development (UNCTAD). Albert has contributed to the development of cybercrime and digital forensics programme for the UNODC under the Education for Justice (E4J) Programme. Albert is currently the Freedom Online Coalition (FOC) Point of Contact for Ghana.

He is the Co-Convener of the Nigeria Network Operators Group (NgNOG) and a lead instructor of the African Network Operators Group (AfNOG).

Charlie believes in Information Technology and Internet as enablers of a favorable environment for citizens to engage in public affairs. As a Fiscal Transparency and Accountability Expert for the International Association of French Speaking Mayors (AIMF), Charlie leads fiscal transparency (budget, tax/revenues, public contracts, expenditures, accounting, etc.) projects for local and central governments in francophone Africa, through the implementation of an IFMIS (Integrated financial management information system) to boost decentralization, local governance and local democracy. He is involved in various public finance and technical committees, to ensure legal and regulatory frameworks for transparency, accountability and governance in Cameroon.
With a Computer Science Diploma and a Master degree of the Université Internationale of Dakar in Senegal in Management Science with a major on Management Information System, he is currently pursuing its PhD studies on Public Governance with Charisma University (British West Indies).

Vincent is motivated by the need to use technology to solve social issues, organize and mobilize youths for change and for economic development. He has developed a Facebook Messenger chatbot that helps people access the Electronic Transaction Act and Communications Act in Malawi. Since March 2007, I have been involved in the field of Internet Governance, where I took part in different capacity building programmes on behalf of DiploFoundation and Internet Society as an online lecturer. In 2010, I worked as a fellow at the United Nations Internet Governance Forum Secretariat during six months.
Since 2013, I have done some research jobs in the domain of Internet Freedoms in Burundi for CIPESA, SMALL MEDIA FOUNDATION and INTERNEWS and that is increased my interest into that domain. Prior to joining the Federal Ministry of Communications in 2012, She served with the Office of the head of service of the federation, the Federal Ministry of Finance and the Supreme Court of Nigeria providing leadership and guidance on ICT related issues.
Moni Udoh holds a Master of Science Degree in Computer Science, from the University of Lagos in 1995. A Post-Graduate Diploma Certificate in Computer Science from the same University of Lagos in 1988 and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Demography and Social Statistics, from the University of Ife, Ile-Ife in 1985. She also holds an Advanced Management Programme (AMP26) Certificate of the Lagos Business School in 2014 and Internet Leadership Academy (ILA-2016) Certificate from the Oxford Internet Institute, Oxford University UK in 2016.
For over a decade, she has in various capacities provided technical legal support to the mandate of the Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Expression and Access to Information in Africa of the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (African Commission). This includes managing and participating in the development of continental standards such as the Model Law on Access to Information for Africa and the Guidelines on Access to Information and Elections in Africa. Dr Shyllon is currently playing a leading role in the development of the revised Declaration of Principles on Freedom of Expression and Access to Information in Africa, by the African Commission.

Through her passion for STEM and knowledge sharing, she founded of Center for Youth Education and Economic Development (CYEED) where she champions capacity building of youth and digital literacy for girls.
Drawing from the sad and devastating experience of an unprecedented internet shut down in Northwest and South West regions of Cameroon in 2017, she became a Digital Rights Advocate fighting against internet shot down especially during crisis periods and advocating for Internet freedom.
Her collaborative efforts led her to contribute significantly in creating a Digital Rights Coalition in Cameroon under the “Ensemble Cameroon” project powered by Internews in collaboration with AfroLeadership and Paradigm Initiative. She is focused on enhancing and engaging digital rights activists with best digital citizenship practices and online safety skills.
She was one of the delegates for IFF2018, Abuja Nigeria organized by Paradigm Initiative and an AFRINIC28 fellow, contributing to discussions center around influencing Internet policy in Africa.

Ines Hfaiedh was a Guest Speaker at the Global IGFs in Mexico, Geneva and France, the Arab IGF, the International Symposium on ICTs, the Tunisia TESOL National Conference, MATE International Conference. The European Educational Tool Portal has selected her tool of ‘Interactive ICT Implementation in Formal and Informal Learning’ for the International Tool Fair in Budapest, Hungary. Hfaiedh was also a guest at the World Bank Youth Summit on “Rethinking Education for the next Millennium” in Washington DC.

Atiku is the author of numerous publications and technical memos on budgeting in Nigeria. His work cuts across different sub-sectors of the Nigerian economy including health, housing, nutrition, family planning, education, and agriculture. Atiku has also led advocacy initiatives aimed at driving legislative transparency, sub-national transparency, citizen-led social accountability, and fiscal policy reforms. He is part of civil society forums leading discussions and engagement sessions with governments on a series of reform initiatives. His experience includes capacity building of local civil society, journalists, media professionals, and community-based organizations with the overall aim of setting advocacy agendas, driving policy changes, and calling attention to issues of transparency, accountability, and participation in governance. Akin is the Special Adviser to the Governor of Ekiti State on Investment, Trade and Innovations. Prior to his role as Special Adviser, he was the pioneer Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) where the key focus is on promoting entrepreneurship by improving access to finance, strengthening the institutional capacity of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and formulating policies designed to improve the business environment in Lagos State.
