Rotimi is currently involved in shaping local, national and global policies to benefit the youth population. He previously worked as a consultant to the World Bank, African Union and GIZ on youth programming in Nigeria and Africa.
In April 2014, Rotimi joined the #BringBackOurGirls campaign to demand government action over the abduction of over 200 girls in northern Nigeria and served as the group’s spokesperson.
In 2017, Malala Fund selected Rotimi as a Gulmakai Champion. The Gulmakai Network invests in local education activists to accelerate progress towards girls’ secondary education around the world but to building the online presence and digital brands of a number of organisations by developing suitable and cost-effective solutions for improved communication.
As a community leader, he is part of the CSD (Community Service Day) is a volunteer-led initiative considered to be one of the most effective community engagement movement in DRC.
He is a member of Afrika Youth Movement (AYM) since 2017 and helped launch AYM HUD DRC.
