Millicent is a Computer Scientist and lecturer at the University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa. She obtained her Master of Science degree in Computers, Complexes, Systems and Networks from Tver State Technical University, Russia and PhD in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
She has several journal and conference international publications to her credit. Her current research interest is in Web and Mobile Technologies, Human-Computer Interaction particularly in the areas of E-government and E-learning, Digital Inclusion for Persons with Disabilities, Information and Communication Technologies for Development. She is skilled in developing inclusive technology interventions with 5 years of research experience in disability technologies. She is a reviewer of several international journals and conferences.
Millicent has received several international awards and scholarships including L’Oréal- UNESCO Women in Science for Sub- Saharan African Award for the promotion of knowledge in Science through pertinent research and also mentoring of Women in Science and Technology
