She holds a Msc in Information System with a specialisation in ICT4D Innovation from Kobe Institute of Computing, Japan. Her Masters Research focused on Water level Monitoring Systems for small scale Farm Irrigation in South Sudan using low income IoT systems. Eva holds a Bsc in Computer Science from Uganda Christian University. She has a professional training from r0g_agency a Berlin based International NGO and has worked as a trainer and expert advisor on gender issues on the Media project by r0g_agency in Rhino Camp, Uganda. She has previously worked as a lecturer at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Juba and as a Researcher, an Initiator and a Project Director for the #SouthSudanPeaceHackCamp Project at Kapital Movie, Juba; as a year-long program that included IT and video production training, #PeaceHackCamp concluded with South Sudan’s first international yet community developed technology, social activism and Peace Building event, launching a series of events that have since taken place in Colombia and Egypt; and also as a Media and IT Officer at Community Empowerment for Progress Organization (CEPO). She has also worked with International companies as a Data Analyst and has spoken and presented at various International Conferences including the ICT4Ag Conference in Kigali Rwanda, Re:publica conference Berlin, open:fora, Berlin and the Dresden Forum for International politics, Germany among others.
